Us, in a nutshell
We met in February, 2006 at a bar of all places. Ryan works in radio and it was a station event that my friend had won tickets to. Ryan pursued me and I couldn't resist his charm! We have been together ever since!
THE PROPOSAL
In July, 2009 we took a trip to Las Vegas like we had the two summers prior. The first night we were there we decided would go on a gondola ride since we hadn't been able to any previous time. Well, needless to say, it didn't happen then, but it did happen right afterwards on the bridge in front of the Venetian. I was surprised and really wasn't expecting it to happen then (although we had been talking about getting engaged for about a year). It was sweet because he was fumbling when he pulled out the ring box and he asked if he had to get down on one knee. I told him he didn't and he proceeded to ask me to marry him.
